features labeled trees and shrubs in a park-like setting (with some sand dunes
thrown in).

research center. Horticultural research includes xeriscape gardening, potatoes,

segment of the Tongue River offers self-guided tours through woodlands
predominated by dominated by mature elm and basswood.

- Straddling the United States/Canadian border, this 2,339-acre national park
offers formal gardens (including plantings based on a yearly theme, fountains, a
floral clock, and a sunken garden), man-made lakes, the 120 foot

shrubs at the site of the Larimore Dam Recreation Area.
